AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. (Reports to June 3.) [MR ALFRED 15UCKL\JS t D.] At the Haymarket on Saturday last, fodder was rather lower in value than previous week: it brom 2s 3d to 3s 9d the cwt.: small loads were also at lower values. Oats, brought 3s 4d to 3s 6d the bushel. Damaged barley, 2s Id to 2s 4d the bushel. Powerful draught horses, aged, £3l to £32 each; compact light draught, from £ls to £25 10s each ; inferior horses were dull of sale. At Papakura, on Wednesday, the cattle brought forwaid were principally grown animals. There was a very numerous attendance, and free bidding for all classes of stock offered. Dairy cows were rather lower in value, but all other stock were better worth about 10s per head ; 97 head cattle and 127 secep were sold. At Remuera, on Thursday, very few store cattle were penned. Dairy cattle were easier in pricf, fully 40s each. J?nt cattle in average supply, 80 sold to the trade; prices for medium and best quality maintained the rise of previous Thursday, and brought from'33s to 35s the 1001 b; inferior quality were no better wo.ith. The sheep market was fully supplied with stock of better than usual quality. Well-bred long-wooiled ewes, brought from 15s (id to lis; their lambs, mixed sexes, from 9s to lis Gd. The sheep, ex Lord Ashley, brought from 12s 3d to 20s, averaging 15s 9*d each. Pigs fully maintained last week's prices.
