Biding horses were very dull pf sale, and at low prices. At Henderson's Mill, on Wednesday, there was a large muster of cattle (about 90) penned. The Attendance was small, and onerhalf the cattle were withdrawn at the auction; working oxen and calves were an exception to the rest of the sale. Those offered were in low condition, but in request, and sold freely at full prices. At Eemuera, on Thursday, dairy cows in all Stages sold at full prices, particularly those in full milk or near calving. Calves were in less numbers than usual, and better worth; yearlings and two-year olds were in steady enquiry at last week's value, but many of them were young and in medium condition; only prices were fower from 10/ to 15/. About 32/6 per lOOlbs. was %he average obtained. No good veal calves were brought forward. The sheep market was fully supplied with fat sheep of good quality, the numbers penned being very much in excess of the usual supply; but the trade was very bare previously, and prices were well sustained. Merino wethers brought from 9/ to 9/6; half-breds, mixed sexes, averaged 13/; longwools from 15/ to 19/ each. A few pens of lambs only were sold at a foil of 2/ per head; the remainder were withdrawn.
