In the Wellington—Mr and Mrs Ferard and infant, and 2 servants, Mrs Gleadow, Capt. Duncan, and Mr Lyon EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Albion, ship, 566 tons, Krolm, from London via Nelson (loading) Comerang, p.s., from Auckland i Hero, schooner, from Porangahau Kauri, schooner, from Wellington Murewai, schooner, from Poverty Bay Star of the South, s.s., from Auckland Success, schooner, from Wellington Three Brothers, schooner, from Wairoa Wild Duck, ketch, from Poverty Bay The s.s. Wellington, Captain Holmes, left Auckland at 3.45 p.m. on Monday last, March 21, and anchored In Ahuriri roadstead at 5.15 a.m. yesterday, having •experienced light winds and fine weather throughout the passage. She steamed (southwards at 1 p.m. vesterday, conveying the mails for Europe, America, &c, via San Francisco. She took as cargo 20 bales of wool and sundries. For the second time we have to announce that there are no vessels in harbor, the lighters excepted- ' TELEGRAPHIC NOTES. BLUffF. March 18—Claud Hamilton, s.s., arrived from Melbourne at 8 p.m. NELSON. March 22—Ahuriri, s.s., arrived from Taranaki and Manukau early AUCKLAND SHIPPING NOTES. The ship City of Auckland left Auckland for London direct on the 19th inst., with a large cargo of kauri gum, wool, tallow, flax, gold, &c, valued it £42,108. She also took 63 passengeis. The Colonial Government p.s. Sturt, from Napier via the East Coast, arrived at Auckland on the 20th inst. The schooner Colonist, from Poverty Bay, arrived at Auckland on the 18th inst., having made the run in 48 hours. The schooner Mary, with a general cargo from Melbourne, arrived at Auckland on the 18th inst. The purchase of the powerful paddle-steamer Luna by the Colonial Government was, we learn from our files, finally completed at Auckland on the 18th inst., and the vessel surveyed and passed by Capt. Cadell and Mr Nancarrow on behalf of the Government. . The amount to be paid for her is said to be £IO,OOO. She was to have been placed on the patent slip at the North Shore on the 22nd inst. The clipper schooner Success is advertised for sale in the Auckland papers.
