DEATH OF COLONEL ERASER. ~ REPORTED MASSACRES. The Star of the South, from Auckland and Tauranga, which has just arrived as we go to press, bring* important intelligence. Capt. Bendall reports that Col. Fraser died at Tauranga on Thursday last, the 10th inst. Some massacres are reported from Ohiwa; and Te Kooti is supposed to be on his way to Poverty Bay.
