Hawke's Bay Times. Nullius addictus jurare in verba magistri. THURSDAY, JANUARY 27, 1870.
We had every reason to expect that in this morning's issue we should have been able to announce the ar rival, from the North, of the s.s. ' Rapgatira,' which vessel has nowbeen expected for some days, and which will doubtless be the bearer! of important news as to the progress of the operations against the rebels. It is supposed that she has been detained by the General Government and despatched to Tauranga. However, her arrival here is anxiously looked for, and may be expected at any moment.
