Tumbull, barque, early Auckland—Rangatira, s.s., this evening Newcastle—Maggie, this day The s.s. Wellington, Captain. Holmes, left Auckland at 4 p.m. on "Wednesday, 12th inst.; rounded the East Cape at 2 p.m. on the 13th, and arrived in Ahuriri roadstead at 6.15 a.m. on Friday, 14th inst. Had light winds and fine weather tliroughout the passage. She steamed for Wellington and Southern Ports at 1.30 p.m. on Priday, with the out-going English Mail, and the following cargo : —55 bales wool. 47 hides, 3 calf-skins, and sundries. She also took a few passengers. The schooner Success, Pletcher, master, arrived in port yesterday afternoon with 76 bales of wool from Porangahau. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain Renner, left Wellington at 3 p.m. on Saturday, 15th inst.; rounded Cape Palliser at 8 p.m.; and arrived in the roads at 6 o'clock last evening. Strong N.E. winds, were experienced throughout the passage. She entered the Iron Pot at 5 o'clock this morning, and is announced to steam for Auckland at 6 o'clock this evening. The brig Maggie cleared at the Customs on Saturday, witli 8 casks tallow and 70 tons limestone ballast, and will leave for Newcastle, N.5.W.," during the course of to-day. The schooner Three Brothers, Ross, master, sailed for Wairoa on Thursday evening, with a general cargo and 3 passeugers. The hrigantine Mary Ann, Capt. White, took her departure for Newcastle, in ballast, on Priday morning. We understand that the barque Jennie Ellingwood will complete loading this week. The s.s. Star of the South may be looked for tomorrow, from Auckland via Waugawehi. The ship Chile, from Auckland, may be expected to arrive here, this week. The s.s. Wellington, hence, was entering Wellington heads as the Rangatira steamed out on Saturday afternoon. The s.s. Phcebe is advertised in the Wellington papers to leave that port for Napier and-Auckland on Wednesday next, 19th inst. The schooner Colonist left Poverty Bay on the oth inst., for Mahia, to load oil for Auckland. TELEGRAPHIC. The schooner Abbertino, from Mauritius via Melbourne, arrived at Port Chalmers at 3 p.m. on the 12th inst. The s.s. Gothenburg "left the Bluff for Melbourne at 4.50 p.m. on the 12th inst. The s.s. Lord Ashley left Nelson for Manukau on the 13th inst. The ship Don Guillermo, from Liverpool, arrived at Port Chalmers at 7.30 p.m. on the 14th instant 1 he ship William Davie left Port Chalmers for London at noon on the 14th inst. The s.s.
