Rain.—A very refreshing fall of rain took place last evening. An English Mail will be made up to-morrow, lo be forwarded per s f s. Wellington. Dr. Carr, mesmerist and phrenologist, it will he seen by advertisement, may be expected to arrive by the a s. Wellington, due here from Auckland to-morrow. Benefit.—The Misses Williams, as will be seen by advertisement, will take a benefit at the Oddfellows' Hall on Tuesday evening; We are in hopes of seeing a good house on the occasion.
