Turnbull, barque, 367 tons, dimming, from Loudon Success, schooner, from Auckland PROJECTED DEPARTURES. For London— R. T. Turnbull, barque, early "Wellington—Rangatira, on or about Friday, 10th December Poverty Bay— Muriwai, to-morrow, Tuesday Wairoa—Mahia, early Waimakama and Maxgakum—Success, this day Arrival of the s.s. Rangatira. The New Zealand Steam Navigation Company's s.s. Rangatira, Capt. F. Renner, with a large general cargo and a number of passengers, arrived in harbor at 4 o'clock on Friday morning last. She left Dunedin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28 ; arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 29th; left Lyttelton at 2 p.m. on the 30th ; arrived at Wellington at 2 p.m. on the Ist December ; left Wellington at 2 a.m. on the 2nd, and arrived here as above. She experienced S.E. and S.W. winds throughout the passage, with thick weather during the first part, and fine during the latter. We have to thank the steward for late files, extracts from which will be found elsewhere. The Rangatira took her departure for Auckland at 6 o'clockft.m. on Saturday, with 42 hides and 4 calf skins, consigned to Mr B. Gittos. Mr W. Goodwin, of Waipukurau, accompanied by Mrs Goodwin and family, left the Province by this opportunity, en route for the mother country. The Rangatira may be expected to return to this port on°or about Friday next, 10th December, and will have immediate despatch for Wellington and Southern ports. Arrival of the schooner Muriwai. The schooner Muriwai, Capt. M'Lonnnn, left Tologa Bay on Monday, 29th November, and arrived at Poverty Bay the next morning; left again for Napier at 5 p.m. the same day. At 2 a.m. on the Ist December, when about 20 miles to the southward of Portland Island, met with a strong southerly gale, in consequence of which bore up for Wangawehi; remained there until Friday last, at 4 a.m. on which day resumed her voyage with E.N.E. wind; came through Portland Island passage at 3 p.m., with fresh N.E. breeze; arrived in the roadstead late on Saturday night, but did not drop anchor till yesterday morning. Reports having sighted a paddle-steamer, supposed to lie the Sturt, off Table Cape, at noon on Saturday ; she was making sail, and bearing up for Poverty Bay. The schooner Colonist and ketch Enterprise were at Turanganiii when the Muriwai left. CARGO: (from Tologa Bay) 20 bales wool and 7 bundles (70) sheepskins, Watt Brothers. The Muriwai will leave again for Poverty Bay to-morrow or next day. [Br Electric Telegraph.] WELLINGTON. Arrived.—December 3,2 a.m., Sturt, from Patea ; Rangitoto, s.s., from Nelson Sailed.—December 2, Phoebe, s.s., for Pictou ; Lord Ashley, s.s., lor Lyttelton; Ballarat, barque, for Port Underwood; 3, Rangitoto, s.s., for Lyttelton NELSON. Sailed.—December 2, Rangitoto, s.s., for Wellington ; Maria, barque, for Port Underwood LYTTELTON. Arrived.—December 3, Lord Ashley, s.s., from Wellington ; 4, Rangitoto, s.s., from Wellington Sailed.—December 3, Lord Ashley, s.s., for Port Chalmers PORT CHALMERS. Arrived. —December 4, Lord Ashley, s.s., from Lyttelton Miscellaneous. The s.s. Star of the Soutli, Captain Bendall, left this port at 5 a.m. on Thursday last, with 1000 sheep and 12 head of cattle for Auckland, and a quantity of stores for Wangawehi. She arrived at the latter place at 1 p.m. the same day, and left again at 3 p.m., with a fine fair wind. We regret to hear that Capt. Fletcher, of the schooner Success, is seriously indisposed, and is now an inmate of the Provincial Hospital. Capt. D. Hamilton is temporarily in charge of the Success.

The s.s. Koeni steamed for Auckland at 7 a.m. yesterday, with GSO sheep and 29 head of cattle, consigned to Carey, Gilles, and Hunter. The barque Jennie Ellingwood, from Port Chalmers, has not yet put in an appearance. The ketch Enterprise, from Poverty Bay, may, we learn, be expected to arrive here shortly. The p.s. Comerang left Tologa Bay for Auckland on the 29th nit. with stock and wool.

The Wellington Independent, 30th November, says that the brigantiue Esther, the cutter Glimpse, ketch Elizabeth, the schooner Shepherdess, and the cutter Dawn have all arrived from the Coast with wool for shipment on board the Halcione.
