The s.s. Wellington.—lt is un certain when the s.s. Wellington, (advertised co steam for Auckland this day) will arrive from the South. In the Evening Post (Wellington) she is announced to steam for Napier and Auckland on Monday, Ist November. Supreme Court.—Sittings of the Supreme Court are announced to take place as follows:—For civil and criminal business, on Monday, Bth November, at 10 a.m.; minor sittings, on Thursday, 11 bh November, atl 0.30 a. m.; and bankruptcy sittings, on Thursday, 11th November, at 11 a.m. ', and in banco, on Friday, 12th November, at 11 a.m. Keturning Officers.— By the New Zealand Gazette of the 16th October we learn that the following gentlemen have been tlected Returning Officers in this Province : Alexander St. Clare Inglis, Esq., for Waipukurau; and Samuel Deighton, Esq., Mohaka. The following gentlemen have been appointed Deputy Returning Officers :-—Nathaniel M'Creevy, Esq., for Mohaka ; Edward Bibby, Esq., for Te Ante; and Philip Henderson Russell, Esq., for Porangahau ?
