The schooner Muriwai, M'Lellan master, from Poverty Bay, arrived in port yesterday, bringing a cargo of 300 bushels maize. The s s, Wellington steamed for Auckland at o pm. on Mondav last. She maybe expected to return on Sunday next, and will steam southwards on Monday next. The cutter Planet will leave port to-day, in ballast, for Picton. .. , The brig Maggie, with 27 casks whale oil and 12 casks tallow, sailed for Newcastle, N.S.W., at midnight on Tutsday lust. The barque Excebior, Capt. Wood hence with wool, arrived at London on the 7th July, after a protracted passage of 150 days. The ketch Wild Duck, Capt. Martin, eft Auckland for Napier via the East Coast on the Bth instant, with a cargo of sundries. . The schooner Colonist, Captain Jones, arrived at Auckland from Napier via the Coast on the 10th inst. „.,, The Colonial Government gun-boat St. ftiiua, Captain Fox, from Wellington, arrived in port at 11 o'clock last night.
