Arrival of the s.s. Rangatira.
Tub s.s. Kangatira, Captain Eenner, left Auckland at 1 p.m. on Saturday, 11th iust. Had fresh southerly winds and heavy easterly swell across the Bay of Plenty. At 4< p.m. on Sunday dropped anchor in the Kawakawa roads, blowing a strong gale from S.S.K Weighed anchor at noon on Hie 13th, Had fresli southerly winds and line weather the remainder of the passage, and arrived in the roadstead at 10.30 a.m. on the 14th instant. The Eaugatira steamed for Wellington aud Southern Ports at 2 p.m. on Mouday,
Arrival of the s.s. Star of the South.. The s.s. Star of the South, Copt. Bendall, left Auckland at 2.30 p.m. Experienced strong b.b.ib. winds across the Bay of Plenty, and anchored at Kawa Kawa at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday Left again at 2 p.m. on Monday, and arrived in the Iron Pot at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The Star steamed for Auckland at 2 o'clock this morning, with a cargo of c.tttle and sheep.
