The schooner Colonist took her departure for Auckland via the East Coast yesterday, with a cargo of wool, wheat, potatoes, &c. The schooner Dunedin, from Dunedin, with a cargo of oats and flour, arrived in the roadstead forenoon. The ship Undaunted, Captain Grierson, from London via Otago, arrived in the roadstead at 1 p.m. yesterday. She has on board about 230 tons of general cargo for this port. The schooner Saucy Lass leaves for Auckland this day with a cargo of wool and tallow. The schooner Bonnie Lass, 38 tons, Captain Davidson, left LytteHon for Napier on the 22nd inst., with 450 bags oats and 5Q bags wheat, consigned to Mr J. H. Vautier. She arrived in port this morning. The s.s. Wellington may be hourly expected to arrive from Auckland. She will steam southwards shortly after arrival. The s.s. llangatira may be expected to arrive from Southern Ports on Thursday, and will steam for Auckland on Friday. The brigantine Esther was to have left "Wellington on the 27th inst., for Napier via Castle Point. The brig Maggie parted an anchor in the Bay on Saturday night, owing to the heavy southerly swell; and the schooner Dunediu was taking water on deck over both sides.
