Mr T. S. Kemp.—We (Otago Daily Times, July 20), pe ceive by the p issenger list per Bangitoto that Mr T. 8. Jvemp, a gentleman well known in New Zealand as an actor and scene painter, lias arrived in Punedin. We do not know whether it is that gentleman's intention to remain here, but from the reputation lie has gained in other parts of the Colony, we should think he would be an acquisition to the Dunedic stage. 'Accident to tite Cahandinis. —The Maryborough Chronicle, 14th Julv, states that an accident happened to the Carandinis, at a place 22 miles from Maryborough. The coach was going at the rate of about ten miles an hour on a smooth road, when it came in contact with a tree. Miss Rosina Carandini, who was riding outside for the benefit of tho fresh air, was thrown among the horses, but marvellously escaped with only a lew bruises. Miss Fanny Carandini was thrown forward against one of the bars that support, the roof of the coach, and had her cheek badly out.
