The lattet struck Spinks with an axe, and he never moved after the first blow. Power ,was secured. Tbe slave schooner Daphne had ar rived, and the prosecution of captain and crew commenced. A man named Mason has been ar resled for the Broughton-place murder. Adelaide, June 7, Mr Kruger, a corn merchant, has been committed for trial for embezzlement. Howell, Superintendent of the stock ade, has been committed for trial for stabbing a prisoner. g
