DEATH.

MABBETT.—At Puketapu, on the 12th May, Herbert, eldest son of Mr and Mrs John Mabbctt, aged 4 years and 10 months.

The Supreme Court sat on Tuesday in chambers, and yesterday in "bankruptcy. The following were the insolvency cases :—C. M'lntyre —There being no appeal ance, application dismissed. John Sim—discharged. J. H. Sebley—discharged, M. Milne—case to stand over to the 17th inst, Alexander Steel—order of discharge next session, protection in the meantime. R. W. I. Carver —discharged. H. W 7 Shaw—adjourned to November sittings, with protection. Car tw right Brown—adjourned to 17th inst.
