Carey & Gilles's Live Stock Report for the week ending 26th March : "We have to report that the markets for both beef ana mutton have been well supplied during the week and late quotations fully upheld. Provincial beef was readily disposed of at 37/0; prime lots 4'/ '{o- lOOlh. Fat sheep were penned in abundance, and found buyers at fair prices. The demand for milch cows still continues, and those offered soil at good rates.
