The Weather.—Strong westerly -winds have pre\ ailed for some days. The melancholy tidings of the White Cliffs Massacre were received in Australia with feelings of the most profound sympathy and the deepest indignation. An able article on the subject, from the Sydney Morning Herald, appears in to-day's Times. Some alteration has been made in the usual fortnightly parades in Napier. In future No. 8 (or Reserve) Company and Napier Rifle Volunteers will parade on Fridays, at 4 p.m.; and Nos. I arid 2 Companies Napier Militia on Saturday, at 4 p.m., commencing on Friday, 2nd April,
