The schooner Success, Captain J. Trimmer, which arrived on Monday afternoon, left Wellington on Saturday the 13th, with N.W. wind. Rounded Cape Palliser at 6 p.m., when the wind died away to a calm. At 2 a.m. on Sunday the wind set in from the S.S.W., with heavy rain, frighted Blackhead on Sunday at 6 p.m., the wind blowing hard. Hove to till Monday morning at 6 o'clock, when she made sail, and arrived in the roadstead at 9 p.m., the same day. The unfortunate ship St. Vincent, which was wrecked in Palliser Bay on Sunday night, was leaving Wellington harbor when tlio success took her departure.
The cutter Glimpse, Croueher, master, from Wellington and the Coast, pur into Napier on Tuesday, for provisions, and left again for the Coast the same day.
The stock steamer John Pemi may, we are informed, be expected about the 23rd, from Wellington and Nelson, consigned to AVatt Brothers, and will load stock for Auckland, The following items appear in the telegraphic shipping of yesterday:—Nelson—Sailed, 16th late, Phoebe, s.s, for Auckland ; "Wellington—Sailed, 17tli IL'l3O a.m., Storm Uird, for Picton.
