IHE Panama Company's steamship Lord Ashley, H. Worsp, Esq., commander, arrived in harbor at II a.m. on Thursday last, April 30, with the English Mails via Panama and Suez, the American and Australian mails, &c. The Panama portion of the English mail was received in Wellington bv the Panama Company’s ««•. Kfdlronra at 1 p.m. on the 21st April, that vessel performing the passage from Panama to Wellington in 27 days and 17 hours. Mr E. Spencer was a passenger by the Kaikoura for Napier, The Ringitoto arrived at Port Chalmers with the Suez portion of the English mail at 8.30 on the 21st April. Emm the papers to hand we compile the following intelligence.
