Oasiaev.—Referring to the continuance! of wet weather, the Omaru Times reports that " it h;i* done considerable damage to the crops in this district. Up to the last fortnight they were looking exceedingly well, and in many places unusually heavy. Wherever the hitter has been the case they have suffered most, having been in some localities laid quite flat. We know of one or two splendid breadths of oats which have had to be cut for hay, aud even for this purpose have been almost spoilt, nearly all the virtue having been washed} [out by the raiu.
