WAIKOA.
Br the ‘ Maliia,’ Cupt. Baiter, which arrived on Thursday last, from Wairoa, we have intelligence up to the previous day. [’here is not much news of importunes. Ihe natives are quiet, and arc reported t• - be engaged in industrial pursuits. The military settlers are on their land, and un busy fencing in, <&c. On the whole, Hitmen seem very well satisfied with their newly-acquired property. The bar is reported good, but how long it, will remain so is doubtful, it being so liable to change.
