A New Tale. —TVs have read with much pleasure tiie first eight or ten chapters of a story by K. E. Lee, Esq., the author of the “ Tangled Skein,” (which was first published in the Weekly Herald). The title of this new production is “ The Secret of Whitmore Chase.” Judging, from what wo have now before us, tho story promises to be one of thrilling interest, and will go far to sustain the character of a writer, which this gentleman has acquired by his former work. Evidently ho has taken more pairs with the work, now before us, and if the interest is kept up, it will be read with avidity both here and in England. It is being published at present in the Hawke’s l!ay Times.—New Zealand Herald.
