Voi.uM'Khit Parade. On Saturday afternoon lust a special parade of the Napier Rifle Volunteers look place on the [parade ground, opposite' the Herald Office. [The object ol the meeting was to present Corporal W Northe, N.R.V., with the Prize medal for the Animal Provincial Firing. The day was anything but. propitious —drizzling rain, and a cold southwester pre\ailing. The attendance consequently was not equal to what, under more favorable circumstances, it would have been; the number of Volunteers present (some 18 rank and file) especially dj 5 . appointed us—the occasion being one on winch no member of that corps should have absented himself.
