'W'e have had quite a fleet of arrivals of small craft from the North since our last issue, viz;— Iliugleader, Betsy, Bittern, Bose, and Lady AVynyarcl, cutters; Mariner, schooner (for lire safety of which fears had been entertained); and Lolly, ketch, Timber, we believe, constitutes the bulk of the cargo of these vessels, The s.s. Scar of the South leaves for Wellington during the course of the day. The s.s. Taranaki, cine here yesterday, had not made her appearance up to the hour of going to press this morning. The s.s, Lord Ashley is due here from Southern Pro\inces to-morrow (Tuesday), and is advertised to leave for Taaranga aud Auckland at 2 p.tn. on Wednesday, 3rd April. The schooner Kauri, from Auckland, with a cargo of flour transshipped ex the schooner Vistula, from Sydney, may now be looked for, she having sailed for this port ou the 2And ult.
