ipLECfI ON NOTICE. JCi —— Is pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Regulation of Elections’ Act, 1868,” I, Wm. Henry Hunter, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Poranganones ui((v t uj virtue 01 & writ bearing date the 7th February, 1867, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Uovernor of New Zealand,' an election will bo held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of candidates will take place at Messrs Hunter’s Woolahed, Porangahau, at noon on Wednesday, the 20th March, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on Thursday, the 21st day of March, and i that I will declare the result of the poll at fire o’clock in the afternoon of the same day.
