. . A HAPPY NEW YEAR I. To day .we bid adieu to the year of grace 1866, and to-morrow must welcome its successor. We have pleasure in expressing our best wishes to our numerous subscribers friends, and readers, and trust that notwithstanding the additional burdens the new year brings to them, and which especially marks its opening day so strongly as to materially interfere with its usually hopeful they will one and all experience a “ Happy New Year,” and many more of them besides.
