We learn on good authority that His Excellency the Governor is now at Taupo, and contemplates visiting this Province. He may be expected to arrive in Napier ou Saturday next, sth January. We understand that_ Lieut, St. George started for Taupo on Sa turday last, accompanied by a native, and carrying a supply of provisions, for the purpose of escorting His Excellency on his overland journey.
