Other Slaughtering Places—Great cattle, 43 j sheep, 351 j pigs, II; lambs, 10 ; total, 415. Grand Total—Groat cattle, 62; sheep, 501 j pigs, 39; calves 8 j lambs, 39 ; total, 649. Colonel Haultain.—The Hon. the Defence Minister was a visitor to this Province by the Storm Bird on Tuesday last, and proceeded northwards in the same vessel on Friday.
