NELSON RACES.

The Nelson Eaces came off on the 20th arid 21st March and passed off very successfully. The following is a condensed account of the different events:—• The Great Neesoh Trial Stakes, of 10 sov» each, 6 ft, and 50 sots added by the Turf Club, provided, eight horses start,-and 30 if any lesser number. If eight start, the second, horse to receive 20 sots out of the stakes, and the third horse to save bis stake. Stafford’s Julia; and the Forced Handicap by Ladybird. This brought .the Nelson Races to a successful termination.
