I John Curling, Esq., Eeturning Officer for the Electoral District oxNapier, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the twentyseventh day of January, 1866, issued under the band of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Napier, at noon, on FRIDAY the sixteenth day of March, 1866} and that the Poll (if necessary) will bo taken on TUESDAY, the twentieth day of Marc'ii, 1866; and that state of the Poll will bo declared at noon on FRIDAY, the twentythird day of March, IS6S, at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Napier. IN PURSUANCE of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “ Tho Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, John Curling, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Clive, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the twentyseventh day of January, 1866, issued under the hand of His Excellency tho Governor of New Zealand, an Election wilt be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Elecoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will lake place at Messrs Ferguson’s Store, Clive, at noon .on SATURDAY, the seventeenth day of March, 1866; and that tho Poll (if necessary) wiil be taken on WEDNESDAY, the twenty-first day of March, 1836; and that the slate of the Pol! will be declared on SATURDAY, tho twentyfourth day of March, 1866, at Messrs Ferguson’s Store Clive.
