DISSOLUTION OP PAELIAMKNT.

A General Government Gazette, published on the 27tb ult., contains three notices under the hand of his Excellency the Governor. The first is addressed to the Legislative Councillors and Members of House of Representatives, and states that his Excellency, having thought fit to dissolve the latter House, does so by proclamation, and its members are discharged from their meeting and attendance on the 20th February, to which day the House stood prorogued. The second proclaims the issue of writs for the new elections, which writs are to bear date the 27th January, and are to be returnable on the 16th April next.

The third proclamation calls together the House of Representatives to meet at the City of Wellington, on Monday, the 16th April next, then andlhere to have conference with the Legislative Council of the Colony.
