Hawke’s Bay Acts. —By a General Government Gazette of the 18th inst., we notice that his Excellency the Governor had assented to “An Act to appropriate the revenue of the Province of Hawke’s Bay for the period commencing the Ist day of July, 1865, and ending the 30th day of June, 1866—also that he has withheld his assent from “ The Representation Act of the Province of Hawke’s Bay.” The Caego oy the Sunbeam, —Our local con* temporary, in alluding to this vessel, informs the public that all her cargo was out on Thursday last, and gives it as an instance of quick dispatch in discharging. Our contemporary is in error in the above statement, as certain packages consigned to us, for which entries were promptly passed, were not landed until noon on Saturday; when we believe the last of her cargo was brought into the inner harbor, Eeeata. —ln the report of the public meeting, given in our last, for “ unanimously ” read “without dissent ,” also, in second page, first column, forty-six lines from bottom, for “ any” read “every” and for “ even” read “ ever”
