ARRIVAL OF THE S.S. RANGATIRA. The N.Z.S.N. Co.’s s.s. Rangatira, Capt. Seymour, arrived in port about 8 p.m. on Thursday, the 16th inst. She left Wellington 530 p.m. on Wednesday last; arrived at Castle Point at 6 a.m. the next day; left at 9 a.m., and arrived in port as above. arrival of the p.s. btcrt. The Sturt arrived in port on Friday evening lost, about 6 p.m.,—having left Poverty Bay on Thursday at 3 p.m. His Honor the Superintendent returned to Napier by this opportunity j also, O. S. Cooper, Esq., and M. Fitzgerald, Esq. The news the Sturt brings will be found elsewhere, arrival of the beautiful star. The s.s. Beautiful Star, Captain Morwick, has again made the run to and from Auckland within a week. She dropped anchor in the roadstead about 8 o’clock on the evening of Friday last, and entered the Iron Pot next morning. ARRIVAL OF THE SUNBEAM. The clipper barque Sunbeam, Captain Lovell, from London via Auckland, dropped anchor in the outer roadstead on the evening of Saturday last, having left Auckland on the morning of Wednesday, lath inst. MISCELLANEOUS. The schooners Rose Ann and Success had both sailed for this port from Auckland via Wangapoa —the former on the 9th, and the latter on the 11th inst. The brigantine Zillah took her departure for Auckland jester Uy. The cutter B< tsy, and the sohoecer Kauri bad both arrived in Auckland
