The Deamatio Company.—We were glad to see a bumper house last night, ou the occasion of Mrs. Foley’s complimentary benefit, as it shows that the publio of Hawke’s Bay appreciate her efforts to cater for their enjoyment. The pieces were well chosen and exceedingly well executed aided, as they were by new scenery and prepared expressly for the occasion. The principal attraction was K The Stranger,” in which as Gertrude, Mrs Foley had an excellent field for the display of her peculiar talents, as indeed may be said of the whole company. The minor attractions were equally successful. By advertisment it will be seen that an attractive bill of fare is provided for Saturday night.
