Sharp Practice to obtain a Wealthy Wipe. —The Cleveland; Plaindealer mentions the case of a -well-dressed voung man of good manners, who gave in his income to the assessor at several thousand dollars, paid the tax, and had the pleasure of seeing his name in the lists among the nabobs of the country. On the strength of this ho courted a wealthy man’s daughter, and married her. Then it was found out that he had no monej, and hid sold his mother’s watch to pav the income tax. The Government made a good thing out of it 5 so did tie young man.
