Iy the House of Representatives, on the 23rd inst., Mojo? Richardson begged permission to state to tho House that the papers laid on the table with reference to an article which had appeared, in tho Hawke s Bay Times, concerning the supply of arms and ammunition to natives by a firm in Auckland in former years, had been carried away. He had laid the papers on the table a few days ago, and he regretted to say lie had been unable to recover them. Having mentioned the circumstance, ho would perhaps be in a position in a short time to meet with them. On the 21th, Major Richardson said he would take that opportunity of stating that the papers which be had laid on the table relative to supply of arms and ammunition to natives by an Auck* land firm had been replaced on the table.
