The names of the fortunate competitors were to be (according to pi omisej published in one or other of the local papers, krom that day to this, I have not heard a word, either of the Lottery nor of my £l. Nor, am Y singular; there are others who took tickets in that Lottery (a friend of mine suggests “ swindle'j and who have been equally unfortunate. What 1 want to know is simply this ; IVhy were the names of the fortunate competitors not published I I would, in all probability, have never noticed this affair at all; but in looking over the columns cf your contemporary a few days ago, what was mg astonishment in noticing another lottery advertised ' I await an. explanation with interest.
