Brisk, Hope, arrived in port about two o’clock yesterday (Sundav) afternoon. Sbe hrihgs some 300 men of tbe 70th Uegt., the greater part of whom were conveyed pn shore during the course of the day in the s.s. Beautiful Star and steam tug Hunt -ess, and immediately marched up to Core Browne Barracks. They seem a splendid body of men, and will no doubt prove themselves “ all there ” wheij called upon. The Spit was crowded to witness their Janding, The s.a. Egmont, with the head-quarters of the 70th, arrived early this morning.
