The Wanganui Times.—We have received by the Star of the -South the iirst number of this candidate for public favor, and are much pleased with its creditable appearance. Wanganui has ol'.eu ■of late been threatened with a rival to the Chrom'd*, —which, indeed, has almost courted one—and we are glad to find it in existence, and a truly formidable one too. We shall lake great interest in its progress, and have no doubt of its success.
