DIED.

MORGAN.—On Thursday, June Bth, at his residence, near Otohuhu, the Rev. John Morgan, aged 54 years, formerly Missionary at Te Awamutu Waikato. He was one of the earliest of the Church Missionaries in these Islands, bis labors having extended over a period of 33 years. His labors were blessed with great success, as his teaching was of that class that not content with forms, insists on the holiness of the life. He stood an exception to his class an opponent of the pernicious temporising that has been the bane, both of the Maori and of the Colony. He has gone to his reward.
