Government Gazettes.—Yve have received Gazette No, 5 published on Thursday containing Ist, a proclamation declaring thut that part of the province lying between the Tutae Knri and Porungahau rivers shall cease to be a pastoral district; and public pounds—
Mr. Thos. Couper, Stockyard, Wallingford ; Mr. W. Goodwin, do., Waipukuran; Mr. T. Heynolds, do., Havelock; Mr. R. D. Maney, do., Meanee Flat; Capt. Carlyon, do., Rua Taniwha ; and 3rd, a notice that M, Fitzgerald Esq., has been appointed a surveyor under the Native Lands Act. Also a Gazette No. 6, published on Friday, appointing J. Rhodes, Esq., Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay.
