Shaw Savill, and Co., have sent away the following ships: The Xapier, for Auckland and Xapier; the Armstrong, for Auckland; and the Glenmark for Cantcrb iry, the latter with Government assisted emigrants. On the 4th inst.. Messrs. Shaw Savill, and Co., also dispatched to Auckland, from Cork, the clipper Ganges. She had on hoard nearly 400 emigrants, being the first in stalment of free settlers from Ireland, sent out by the New Zealand Government Emigration Board. The ship was fitted up under the direct ons of the Board, and the class of emigrants sent were such as cannot but prove useful to the colony.— N. Z. Examiner, Xov. 17. Messrs. Boulder Brothers and Co. have this month dispatched the Ernestine for Auckland, having on board a large number of passengers, assisted by the A cent-General for the province Of Auckland, and also the sixth party of settlers for the Church of England Special Settlement, accompanied by T. J. Welch, Esq., the promoter of the movement. The passengers were under the medical charge of Dr. Mossmann. The above firm have also dispatched the Lady Ann, A 1 13 years, for Otago; and the steamship Tararua, belonging to the Panama, New Zealand, and Australian Royal Mall Company, for Australian and New Zealand ports.— lbid.
