THE Hawke's Bay Times. NAPIER, FRIDAY, 3rd FEBRUARY, 1865. SUPREME COURT.

His Honor Mr. Justice Johnston, who arrived at ‘Napier by the Lord Ashley on the 26th ult., is now engaged in the Criminal Sittings of the Supreme Court. The report of the cases tried up to last evening, though condensed as much as possible, occupies so much of our space as to prevent our giving our usual leading article. We believe that the Supreme Court at Napier has never before had a calendar so heavy as at this time, some of the cases being of a very serious nature. It is arranged for the minor sittings of the Court to be held this day (Friday).
