Fresh Meat. —Province of Auckland. TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Commissary-General in Auckland, till noon on Tuesday, the 27th December, 1864, for the supply of Fresh Meat (Beef and Mutton) to the Troops in the Province of Auckland for the year from Ist April, 1865, to 31st March, 1866. The Contractor will be bound to issue the killed meat in detail to the troops at all places where he may be required by the Commissary-General or officer authorised by him to do so. The course of instruction proposed will embrace a sound English education, together with French (with Parisian accent), German, Latin, and drawing and sketching from nature.
