Fresh Meat. —Province of Auckland. TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Commissary-General in Auckland, till noon on Tuesday, the 27th December, 1864, for the supply of Fresh Meat (Beef and Mutton) to the Troops in the Province of Auckland for the year from Ist April, 1865, to 31st March, 1866. The Contractor will be bound to issue the killed meat in detail to the troops at all places where he may be required by the Commissary-General or officer authorised by him to do so. Payment will be made monthly for the quantities shown in the Commissariat accounts as having been received. For further information apply at the Commissariat O ffice, Napier. J. T. TYLEE, A. C. All mares will be collected and taken to the station where they will receive every attention and at the expiration of the season will he returned to their respective owners. MARSHALL, feeling that the time has arrived when another School is needed at Napier, begs leave to inform his friends that .ho will bo prepared to receive pupils on the Ist of January next at his house on the hill, where they will have the benefit of a salubrious and ample play-ground. The course of instruction proposed will embrace a sound English education, together with French (with Parisian accent), German, Latin, and drawing and sketching from nature.
