We should like his Honor the Superintendent to acquaint the-electors of this town at his convenience, at what time he intends to issue writs for the election of members of the Provincial Council in the room of Messrs. Fitzgerald and Smith, who are at present engaged at so much per day in the Public Service. It is evident that such proceedings as this are contrary to the Act in such cases made and provided, and that, if the electors are satisfied with the arrangement, they at least ought to be allowed to express an opinion upon it.
