AUCKLAND. LIVE STOCK MARKET. —Week ekdixo October 1. Mr. L. Buckland reports that at the Haymarket, Fat cattle have been offered in excess of demand, and prices are easier; 50 ex Xanthe brought an average of £l4 ss. Store sheep are offering plentifully but continue in good demand. Those ex Beautiful Star brought an average of 21s. fid.; ewes and lambs in consideration brought 445. the couple ; fat sheep were scarce, and sold high; six pens of fat lambs brought from 18s. to 325. fid. each. Pigs were in fair supply, but consequently on the short supply of sheep brought extreme prices.
