LOCAL INTELLIGENCE
Every Man to his Bat ! —We have much pleasure in calling attention to the advertisement, which will be found elsewhere, notifying the formation of a Cricket Club in this Province. It is to be hoped that the men of Hawke’s Bay will muster strong, and make up a good serviceable eleven, so as to be able to get a few good games and matches during the season. It is hardly necessary, we apprehend, to say that this object can onty be attained by frequent practice.
