Though they may not impair the general health at first, ultimately such must ho their ciloct if permitted to continue unrelieved. Itshould be generally known that, after fomentation with warm salt and water Holloway’s ointment, well rubbed upon the afflicted part twice a day, gives infinite case and secures ultimate recovery. Holloway’s Pills should also bo taken to assist in the cure. They prevent all weak and numb feelings, so apt to prevail after neuralgic and rheumatic attacks. Many, after suffering martyrdom from severe attacks of rheumatism, and obtaining no relief, were quickly cu red by these medicines.— (Adet.J News from the Cafe.— The Argus reports the receipt of news from the Capo of Good Hope up to the 1-ltli of July. Considerable uneasiness was felt at some recent proceedings on the part of the Kaffir chief Kreli; but the commander of the forces announced in Graham’s Town, at the Mayor’s dinner, that be did not apprehend a Kaffir war at present.
