AUCKLAND. LIVE STOCK MARKET.—Week ending August 27. Quiet store cattle are in request. and'hHier ■"vices are obtained for them. Pat cattle were not so high in price. Sixty-five head store steers and oxen, ex Kate Waters, brought an average of £8 135.; 15 store cows, £6 10s.; 51 fat oxen°£l3 ;12 fat cows, £lO ss. each. No store sheep in market. Merino wethers were disposed of privately at 255-. Fat sheep scarce and dear. A few good pigs sold well, and some inferior store pigs at lower rates. — Mr. A. Bucldand’s Report.
