If egg, agent. SAILED. August 27— Lord Ashley, s.s., 296 tons, Randall, for Auckland, with part of original cargo for Napier and Auckland. Passengers—Miss Rye, Messrs. A. Browne, Garner, Russell, Walters, Laxton, Middins, Neal, Robinson, Mack, Williams, three soldiers 14th Regiment.—Maltby & Co., agents. August 27— Glimpse, cutter, 38 tons, Burrell, for Auckland, with 1,000 bushels maize, Watt, Kennedy, & Watt. —Watt, Kennedy & Watt, agents. August 31— AJmriri, s.s., 131 tons, Shuttleworth, for Wellington, in ballast. Passengers—Mr. R. J. Duncan, Miss Boyle.—Kinross & Co., agents. September I—" Effort,1 — "Effort, 32 tons, Kopu, for Wairoa, with 1 ton flour, 4 ton sugar. Passengers,— Mrs. Worgan, 1 male European, 100 natives.— Maltby & Co., agents. « The ketch, Sea Shell, and the brigantine Balmoral, both sailed yesterday morning, the former for Wellington, and the latter for Hobart Town. The schooner Sea Serpent, 60 tons, Blair, cleared in Auckland for Napier, on the 26th ult., with 24,000 ft. timber, 10 bags bran, 14 ton flour, 4 bags biscuit, £ ton sugar, 2 casks beer, 4 packages drapery, I buoy and anchor.— Southern Cross, August 27. The s.s. Beautiful Star, 125 tons, Captain Moryick, arrived in the Tamaki from Napier on
Wednesday morning, and came up the horbour on Thursday morning. She left Napier on Sunday, thft 21st instant, and experienced strong easterly winds and thick rainy weather until rounding th*e East Capo, with high confused sea. From tlience southerly wind and fine weather have prevailed. She shipped 645 sheep, and landed the whole of them at Tamaki in good condition. The Beautiful Star is advertised to sail for Napier shortly. —Southern Cross.
